SEPAS SADRENOORI

PIANIST & COMPOSER

Sepas Sadrenoori is an persian composer and pianist. Born in Tehran in 2001 into a family of musicians, he discovered the piano at an early age, guided by his parents. As a teenager, he began composing for the piano and other instruments, eventually releasing two albums in Iran.

In 2018, Sepas moved to France to continue his studies and explore new horizons. He quickly developed a deep appreciation for French culture, which became a source of inspiration for his artistic journey. Passionate about blending musical colors and experimenting with diverse sounds, Sepas strives to create music that is both rich and nuanced, bringing his compositions to life each time his fingers touch the piano keys.

In October 2021, he released his most recent album, Confluences, as a composer and pianist, in collaboration with the duo Youn & Sepas. This project reflects his dedication to bridging musical traditions and exploring the interplay between cultural identities through sound.

Four years after the marathon reading of the Encyclopedia of Migrants, the artist at the initiative of the European project, Paloma Fernández Sobrino, returns with a new musical reading of letters extracted from the Encyclopedia, in collaboration with Alexandre Rubin at the Conservatoire de Rennes.

This original creation of L'âge de la tortue co-produced with the Conservatoire de Rennes, imagined for the highlight of Rennes au Pluriel (2021 edition).

The opportunity to discover the texts of this extraordinary work bringing together 400 testimonies of migrant people collected in Europe, in a sensitive approach and a humanist impulse to offer an intimate look on the experience of uprooting.

Although you closed your eyes, but at the end of this infinity, there is a place where your soul fills the arms of the galaxies and sincerely makes the skies dance with beauty in absolute silence. And how beautiful you are in this eternity and how beautiful you are away from it. The blue circle is full of sadness, and how happy this place is...

Galaxy of silence tribute to the 176 victims of Teheran flight PS752 to Kiev. People who just wanted to follow their dream but a very tragic story prevented them.

DENJ, an oriental jazz project rooted in France, is fueled by influences of Persian musical traditions on its four dedicated musicians. Our latest creation, "AZM," is the outcome of our recent live session at Cargo Studio in Caen. "AZM," a composition by Sepas Sadrenoori meticulously arranged by DENJ, epitomizes our unwavering commitment to this musical odyssey.

A series of improvisations combined with world music and minimal music. Sorush Kamalian and Sepas Sadrenoori are both Iranian artists based in France since 2018. Unlighted is the musical project in which these two musicians create a new musical universe.

This work symbolizes the first moments of the union, where the two influences meet for the first time, tame and mingle. Chahargoush is a jazz quartet project that took place in the spring of 2022 in Tehran. An artistical reunification after five years in my homeland.

Born from the encounter of two worlds, the duo Youn and Sepas melds the influences of jazz and the oriental colors of Persian music in a fusion that transcends established borders. Our musical universe is nourished by the diversity of these two worlds that meet and form a whole, like two flueves that are no longer separable from each other when they meet.
